Saving Lives through Early Detection
OralAdvance is designed to detect early stage oral cancer. Like most cancers, finding and treating oral cancer early increases the chance for survival. When oral cancer is detected in its later stages, the five-year survival rate is only approximately 50%. It's a good idea to ask your dentist or dental hygienist for an oral cancer exam at least once a year.
About OralAdvance™
OralAdvance™ uses a soft brush to collect samples, providing dentists with an alternative when assessing oral lesions if a biopsy is not warranted or possible. Talk to your dentist to find out more about early oral cancer detection with OralAdvance™.
Fast turnaround
The completed OralAdvance analysis report is sent to the patient's oral care provider. Turnaround time for delivery of reports is 2-3 working days from when the lab receives the specimen.
Coverage by Insurance
Our laboratory fee for analyzing the OralAdvance sample is $98.00 (cytological report) and the dental procedure fee is $43.10. They are both subjected to dental insurance.
