We are a privately-owned company in Vancouver, Canada with laboratories accredited by the Diagnostic Accreditation Program of the British Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. Our operation is supported by an exceptional group of highly experienced and specialized pathologists and highly motivated staff, all working to the highest standards and providing the best in medical, technical, scientific expertise.

In addition to delivering excellence in the field of anatomic pathology, we have innovated quantitative cytology technology to provide new, highly informative early cancer detection tests. This technology was developed in partnership with the British Columbia Cancer Agency (BCCA) in Vancouver, a renowned cancer research and treatment facility with a successful track record in implementing early cancer detection programs.

Since our incorporation, in 1999, PMI Labs has successfully built an ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 certified quality management system, developed and manufactured its cytometry technologies, completed multinational clinical trials on tests using these technology platforms, and have received market clearance from Health Canada, the European Union. Some of our products are also FDA listed as standalone devices.

PMI Labs also has a portfolio of patents for out-licensing covering state of the art technologies for cancer visualization. Please contact us for more information.
